Hey there! The ombre style glasses are actually NOT Dorothy Thorpe. Thorpe created the dip rim which was then copied by other makers, some of which began making the ombre-style. Interestingly, Thorpe never made an ombre glass.

Anyway, just thought I’d speak up so you don’t pay Thorpe prices for a non-Thorpe piece! The ombre is beautiful though, just the same.

the give away is the little shelf in what would be the knee hole, typical of credenzas.
