Thorpe created the dip rim which was then copied by other makers, some of which began making the ombre-style.  Interestingly, Thorpe never made an ombre glass.Anyway, just thought I&#039;d speak up so you don&#039;t pay Thorpe prices for a non-Thorpe piece!
