Three dollars.
Oh yeah.
Mission accomplished. I made this promise to my daughter nearly 3 years ago. "When we have our own house, I'll make you a skating rink." The wives were slightly annoyed. "Why do you guys need beer?" "This is a one day project, right?" But I can tell you right now without reservation that every minute spent on this 17' X 20' bad boy is worth the 3+ hours of work. Now if I only had some skates.

wow, now that is being a good dad! thanks for your comment on my post, i really appreciate the intellectual conversation! now i don’t know if you’ve written about this yet but i am so curious as to how you fit three kids and yourselves in a one bedroom … we’re currently in a studio and i can’t imagine adding someone else. can you give us a tutorial on fitting people in the home? thanks!
Installing a beer fridge in the garage is a key to projects like this. Good work!
No need for a fridge this time of year. Arg!
Taylor, you’re getting the manlyvintage crew confused. Morgan has 2, I have 3. I live in a luxurious 4(ish) bedroom house. Morgan is the freakity freak with two kids in the ONE FREAKING BEDROOM. Actually, his place seems pretty spacious. You can see it profiled here:

I’m sure he’d give you some pointers, though.
Howdy Taylor,
We don’t waste any space whatsoever, meaning; under the bed, behind the couch, under desks, every drawer, making a closet a office, putting dressers in closets, spliting rooms, building/stacking shelves, we also have a large storage unit filled, on top of storage is stacked with boxes, balancing furniture on furnitire in storage. its crazy.
But the most prized possession in our place is the eye hook on the kids bedroom.
Yeah we’re moving out soon.
oh hey, Morgan’s place does look spacious! thanks for clearing up the confusion.
